Services

The following services are available to support the use of digital maps and geographic data:
 

• Transformation of geographic data and coordinates between different coordinate systems, map projections, and geodetic datums.
   
• Analysis and processing of digital maps as vector graphics (preferably in MapInfo file format) or as raster maps / images. Classification of coordinate systems and map datums, geo-registration etc.
   
• Transformation of digital raster maps (raster images) from any map projection into a different projection. Every single pixel will be treated with an exact geodetic transformation. Preconditions are that the raster map is precisely georeferenced and that the exact map projection is known or can be found out.
   
• Customized data conversions with user-specific data formats / file formats.
